Chloe's 1st Birthday

My step-sister Stacey and her husband Dimitri had come back from Fiji so that they could celebrate their daughter Chloe's first birthday with the family.

We headed out to a great playground in Packer Reserve in Carnegie. It has an enormous playground and really good facilities. It was good to catch up with them even if Genevieve was a bit grumpy (she fell asleep in the car on the way over).

Once Genevieve woke up and warmed up a bit she started bossing Pop around... "t'mon Pop to the Playground". Fortunately Pop was only too happy to oblige.

The City of Glen Eira sure know how to build a playground!

As you will see, she still had a bit of a cough in this video. Oh... and take your seasickness tablets for the last scene.

I've been trying to organise a time for some old work friends to come over and of course, no one date would suit everyone (and the fact that one is in Detroit doesn't help either!) As it ended up, two came this afternoon. Mel brought two of her three kids, Evie and Christian.

It was great to catch up and the kids loved playing. We all loved watching Vievey mimicking Evie's every move. Just gorgeous! I don't think she realised she was doing it.

I want money....

... that's what I want! Fortunately there's not much of that to be found in my purse otherwise little Genvieve might have taken herself out on a spending spree.

One of her favourite things at the moment in taking stuff out of something. That includes taking everything out of my handbag, all my makeup out of my makeup bag and all of my cards out of my purse. Hopefully she will learn how to put things back really soon!!!
