Nanna came down last night to look after the little girl. She got here really early, so she went to pick her up before Naomi and I got home. After dinner and a chat, it was off to see Even (a pretty rare occurrence these days - both Even playing, and Nai and I going to a gig).
In the morning, we took Benny for a walk and then came back for breakfast and some books.
It had been a few weeks since we'd been out training on the bikes, coz of our run-in with the flu. So Nanna (Thel) came over last night so that she could babysit for us in the morning so we could both go for a roll.
We thought we'd exploit the situation so we went to see a film too (first time we'd seen a film together in around 2 yrs!) and we went to see Knocked up. Gotta say, one of the funniest films I'd seen in ages. VERY cleverly written and anyone who is a parent could relate to so, so many little details they've put in there. Quite in your face though, in many scenes.
So then, this morning we got to go for our ride together which was great. Again, a little over two years since we've been out on our road bikes together. Nai is still not quite 100% so she sucked on behind me, with me pushing the wind for her le Tour de France style.
Then, of course, tomorrow night Narnar (Marilyn) will arrive for her weekly visit. She gets here after Vievey has gone to bed, but Nai takes her in to her Narnar in the morning and they get to spend every Tuesday together.
In a few weeks time, Nanna will look after her for the whole day so we can go and slide around on some white stuff up in the mountains.
Of course - they do it for love, and we are so lucky, and so grateful!

OK, Nanna loves her jewelery, but even more than that, she loves her shopping, and especially shopping for shoes.
We were in Barwon Heads visiting our friend Andrea (we would've been surfing but there was no swell) so we hit the shops. There's this new really cool little kid's clothing store down there, and Vievey got some very spunky little shoes.
Nanna would be so proud!.
