OK, she's still a long way from riding by herself in the morning (senior primary school perhaps?  Dunno... maybe even later), but she can now carry everything she needs for the day.

Backpack sourced from the Royal Melbourne Show (I give the zippers about a month), and there was a car in the way on the ramp, so we had to take the front steps. 

We had our "Parent/Teacher Night" last night at childcare - I find it hilarious that we have this for a 2 year old but anyway it's good to hear from the carers how our little girl is going.

They said she was very good at talking, reading and singing. She knows her colours and is quite advanced verbally. However, she is very cautious physically and won't attempt to do anything without watching others and considering it carefully. She won't run fast, climb things etc until she knows it's safe Just like her daddy. She is also starting to assert herself a bit more with the other kids eg. she will tell them "No" if they try to take something from her whereas before she would just let them have it.

We were very happy with the report and very proud of our little girl.
